Boiler tube manufacturing method and classification

  (1) Manufacturing methods:

  General boiler steel pipe use temperature is below 450 °C, China's boiler pipe is mainly made of 10 or 20 carbon steel hot-rolled pipe or cold drawn pipe.

  High-pressure boiler steel pipes are often used in high temperature and high pressure conditions, and the pipes will be oxidized and corroded under the action of high temperature flue gas and water vapor. Steel pipes are required to have high durability, high corrosion resistance and good structural stability.

  (2) Use:

  General boiler tubes are mainly used to manufacture water-cooled wall pipes, boiling water pipes, superheated steam pipes, superheated steam pipes for locomotive boilers, large and small smoke pipes and arch brick pipes.

  High-pressure boiler steel pipes are mainly used to manufacture superheater pipes, reheater pipes, air pipes, main steam pipes, etc. of high-pressure and ultra-high pressure boilers.

  The boiler tubes are divided into general boiler boiler steel tubes and high pressure boiler boiler steel tubes according to the high temperature performance they are subjected to. Regardless of the general boiler steel pipe or high-pressure boiler steel pipe, it can be divided into various steel pipes according to the requirements of its use.
