Research on steel material corrosion and protection in deep ocean
No doubt that there are lots of treasures under the deep ocean, especially for various gas which are our needed nowadays. However, due to the typical character of deep ocean different from mainland, it is hard to get the treasure out. Thus, requirements for various pipes like seamlesssteel pipe and ERW steel pipe would be serious than ever in order to have a good features for working beneath the deep ocean. Compared with the shallow sea environment, there are enormous pressures in the deep sea as well as serious problems of temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, pH, biological fouling, metal ion deposition and surface flow rate, which bring great difficulty for deep sea's research and development as many mature technologies in the sea and in the shallow sea can not be applied in the deep ocean.
