Classification of high pressure boiler tubes

For heating pipes with low and medium pressure boilers (working pressure is generally not more than 5.88Mpa, working temperature is below 450°C); used in high pressure boilers (working pressure is generally above 9.8Mpa, working temperature is between 450°C and 650°C) Heating surface pipe, economizer, superheater, reheater, petrochemical industrial pipe, etc.

  Specifications and appearance quality

  (1) GB3087-2008 "Smooth Steel Pipe for Low and Medium Pressure Boilers". Various types of structural steel pipes for boilers, with an outer diameter of 10 to 426 mm, totaling 43 types. There are 29 kinds of wall thicknesses of 1.5 to 26 mm. However, the outer diameter and wall thickness of superheated steam pipes, large smoke pipes, small smoke pipes and arch brick pipes for locomotive boilers are otherwise specified.

  (2) GB5310-2008 "Seamless Steel Tube for High Pressure Boiler" The high pressure boiler tube of the hot rolled tube has an outer diameter of 22 to 530 mm and a wall thickness of 20 to 70 mm. The cold drawn (cold rolled) tube has an outer diameter of 10 to 108 mm and a wall thickness of 2.0 to 13.0 mm.

  (3) GB3087-82 "Seamless steel tubes for low and medium pressure boilers" and GB5310-95 "Seamless steel tubes for high pressure boilers". Appearance quality: cracks, folds, creases, crusting, separation and hairline are not allowed on the inner and outer surfaces of steel pipes. These defects should be completely removed. The clearance depth shall not exceed the negative deviation of the nominal wall thickness, and the actual wall thickness at the cleaning site shall not be less than the minimum allowed by the wall thickness.
